Empowering Lives Beyond Cystic Fibrosis
Direct support, education, and wellness for the CF community
More Than Medical Care
While medical advancements are crucial, Meghan’s Light focuses on the person behind the diagnosis. Our mission reaches the Cystic Fibrosis community through several heartfelt programs designed to inspire courage, fund higher education, and provide essential wellness resources.
The 65 Wellness Wishes Program
This is our central initiative. We provide personalized grants for a wide range of needs, such as essential fitness equipment, therapeutic sessions, access to healthy nutrition, and supportive activities.
These wishes help patients not just manage their condition, but truly pursue a healthy life beyond the limits of CF. Each grant directly empowers a recipient to feel stronger and more hopeful.
The Meghan Hukowicz Zoll ’00 Endowed Scholarship
Education was a passion for Meghan. In partnership with Elms College in Chicopee, MA, this need-based scholarship supports undergraduate students, with a preference for those studying Sports Management or Coaching. It honors Meghan’s time as a varsity athlete and her belief that fitness is a tool to help people thrive.
Meghan’s Light Memorial Birthday Fund
Established in honor of Meghan’s birthday on September 24, this fund provides a special annual gift to a child or adult with CF who embodies the qualities Meghan demonstrated. This award focuses on joy and enrichment, providing memberships to zoos, museums, parks, or entertainment venues to allow recipients to experience the world just as Meghan loved to do.
Tammy’s Soulful Adventures Award
Established in memory of Meghan’s dear friend and our first publicist, Tammy Jacobson-Landon, this award recognizes a CF patient who shares a soulful spirit for life and adventure. It funds travel or special experiences that enrich the spirit, honoring the bond of friendship and the love of travel that Tammy and Meghan shared.
